Ganga Prem Hospice organises its first-ever charitable cancer clinic in Roorkee on the 30th of May, 2015. The clinic is being organised in the heart of Roorkee and will cater to patients from both within the city and adjoining villages. Roorkee, which lies at the geographical border of the states of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, is known for its prestigious higher-learning education institutes and for the upper-Ganges canal – India’s first irrigation work in its North region.
Senior oncologists Dr AK Dewan and Dr SK Sharma will give free-of-charge consultation to patients at the BSM inter-college, Dehradun Road, Roorkee, from 11 AM onwards on the Saturday.
The Rotary Club of Roorkee-Mid-town is helping Ganga Prem Hospice with the arrangements for the cancer clinic.
